Luxury Victoria Sapa - Bac Ha market Thursday - Sunday 5 days 4 nights

Bac Ha market is far from Lao Cai province 120km and it has long been known for its aromatic corn spirits, and now this reputation is added to with its market activities, which have strong cultural characteristics of the Mong. Tourists flock to this peaceful oasis because of its natural attractiveness and the distinct traditional and cultural identity of the local minority. The Bac Ha market opens every Sunday. From dawn, hordes of people in colorful costumes and baskets on their backs accompany horses loaded with goods to the market. It is amazing to have truly experience that will carve unforgettable memory of the beautiful land.

Departure with English/ French speaking guide

Thursday Day 1: Hanoi- Sapa
You are free on your own day in Hanoi then at 8.30 pm our guide and driver will transfer you from your hotel to Hanoi railway station to take overnight train. The luxury Victoria Express leaves Hanoi at 21.55pm.

Friday Day 2: Sapa (B, L)
Our guide and driver are waiting for you at Lao Cai railway station. Your train comes to Lao Cai approximately at 6.00 am. Our guide and driver will accompany you to Sapa far from Lao Cai
34km along the steep, terraced hillsides of the Hoang Lien son mountain range; the breathtaking view on the way is fantastic. You will have breakfast at Ta van restaurant at Victoria Sapa hotel then free at leisure to freshen up. Then at 10.00 am we take walking tour around the town. Visit Stone Cathedral built by French, which has over 100 years old. The other interesting place is Sapa market where local ethnic minorities walk over mountains and forest to exchange handmade products. Then walk down to Cat Cat village, directly below Sapa and in the Muong Hoa Valley, home of H'mong people. This is also good chance to communicate with local ethnic minorities and understand their culture and daily life and have a great fun with these people by their honest and friendliness.  Look out for tubs of indigo dye, used to color the hemp cloth typical of H'mong dress. Cat Cat waterfall is just below the village, site of hydroelectric station and now pleasant place to rest before tackling the homeward back journey. Overnight at Victoria Sapa Resort.

Saturday Day 3: Sapa (B, L)
This morning, at 9:00 am we leave Sapa town for Lao Chai and Tavan village. One of the most enjoyable is follow the main tracks from the Auberge Southdown the Muong Hoa valley for 9 km to a wooden suspension bridge a Tavan village on the opposite of the river. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Ta van actually consists
of 2 villages: immediately across the bridge is Giay community while further uphill to the left is a Dao village. From here, going to west to reach Lao Chai. Enjoy picnic on the way then in the afternoon our chauffer will take us back Sapa for overnight.

Sunday Day 4: Sapa-Bac Ha market- Overnight train backs Hanoi (B, L)
Leave SaPa for Bac Ha and visit a most colorful and visit minority market and 3 hours walk around the village of the Flowers H'Mong ethnic people, Bac Ha market. Then go back to Lao Cai train station to catch Victoria Express train journey back Hanoi at 21.15pm. You will approximately arrive in Hanoi at 5.30 am the following morning.

Day 5: Arrival Hanoi
At 5.30 am, arrive in Hanoi, on your own transfer to your hotel in town.
