has over 100 years old. The other interesting place is Sapa market where
local ethnic minorities walk over mountains and forest to exchange handmade
products. Then walk down to Cat Cat village, directly below Sapa and in the
Muong Hoa Valley, home of H'mong people. This is also good chance to
communicate ate with local ethnic minorities and understand their culture and
daily life and have a great fun with these people by their honest and
friendliness. Look out for tubs of indigo dye, used to color the hemp cloth
typical of H's mong dress. Cat cat waterfall is just below the village, site
of hydroelectric station and now pleasant place to rest before tackling the
homeward back journey. Overnight at Victoria Sapa Resort.

One of the most enjoyable is follow the main tracks from the Auberge
Southdown the Muong Hoa valley for 9 km to a wooden suspension bridge an
Tavan village on the opposite of the river. This is an absolutely
spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the
friendliest people you can meet. Ta van actually consists of 2 villages:
immediately across the bridge is Giay community while further uphill to the
left is a Dao village. From here, going to west to reach Lao cai. Enjoy
picnic on the way then in the afternoon our chauffeurs will take us back Sapa

approximately arrive in Hanoi at 5.30 am the following morning. On your own
