Discover the splendors of Halong Bay aboard the Halong Ginger, a wooden junk that combines classic beauty with modern comfort. We chose our boat's name-Halong Ginger-because, like the plant it was named after, our junk is perfectly suited to this environment. Day 1: Hanoi- Halong (L,D)
Our driver picks you at 8:30 am at main lobby of your hotel in Hanoi for stunning Halong bay. Enjoy lush countryside scenery of Red River Delta along the way. We will arrive at the jetty around 12:30 pm. Welcome on board Halong Ginger and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth.

After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails. Swim on a quiet beach or lie on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village and interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, kayak or simply take a bamboo rowboat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktails while savoring the sunset, and later unwind at the Ginger restaurant.

Day 2: Halong- Hanoi (B)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Checkout is at 11:45 am. Boat arrives at the harbor by noon for the driving back to Hanoi. Your trip ends at Hanoi hotel.
