DETAILS ITINERARIES:
Day 1: Arrival Ha Noi (D)
Welcome to Ha Noi, city for peace and hidden charms. Upon arriving at Ha Noi
airport, our driver and guide will accompany you to your hotel. Check in
hotel then we will visit Ha Noi Old Quarter with a great fun on cyclo. Then
enjoy a cup of coffee at City view cafe to have a great view heart of Ha Noi
- Ho Guom Lake from the height. One of highlight of Ha Noi is Water puppet
show that we cannot miss in the late afternoon. Then taste Ha Noi cuisine at
the most super restaurant in town.
Day 2: Ha Noi city tour (B, L)
Ha Noi, the most charming city in Vietnam is worthy to visit. It is famous
for old aged history, rich culture, architecture and friendly people. French
buildings, Old quarter, Ho Guom, tree-lined boulevards with historical sites
make your trip memorable for many years coming.
We start the day at 8.00 am at your hotel. Ho Chi Minh complex is one of
must see place in Ha Noi. The huge complex including Ho Chi Minh mausoleum,
Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh Museum. Then Temple of Literature is
next stop. This is the first University of Vietnam built in 1076 under Ly
dynasty and Vietnam's principal Confucian sanctuary as well. After that, we
will taste cuisine at the most finest restaurant in town for lunch. Having
rest then we continue our trip with either Ethnology or History Museum. They
are both finest ones in Vietnam especially Museum of Ethnology in down town
far from central 12 km. Then come back to cyclo 1 hour around Old quarter
with great fun. The Old Quarter's street names date back fine centuries to
when the area was divided among 36 artisan’s guilds patron spirit. Even
today, many streets specialize so some degree and a surprising number are
still dedicated to the original craft or its mordent equivalent.
Visit Ngoc Son temple on Ho Guom lake- the heart of Ha Noi and then enjoy
one-hour unique Water puppet show in the late afternoon. Transfer you back
to your hotel and free at leisure later on.
Day 3: Ha Long bay day trip (B,L)
Ha Long bay, land of legend and splendid natural beauty is one of must- see
places in Vietnam. Her charming allures much more people to the Northern
coast of Vietnam. Thousand of lime stone islands just out of the emerald
sea, sculpted into such as bizarre shapes as to invite comparisons with
anything from chickens and dragons to champagne corks or even Dina sours.
Departs Ha Noi at 8.00 am for Ha Long bay through Red River Delta. It takes
you around 3.5 hours driving to Ha Long city. Upon arriving to Ha Long
wharf, our cruise staffs will meet you and we embark the boat for
breathtaking four-hour cruise. Then sumptuous lunch is served on boat.
Navigating the silent, secretive channels, past bobbing clusters of fishing
boats and stopping to scramble through ones of the most beautiful grottoes
in Ha Long- Thien Cung and Dau Go caves, which is also a witness of Vietnam
glorious victory as well is one of the highlights of a trip to Vietnam. We
farewell Ha Long and arrive back Ha Noi at roughly 7.30 pm
Day 4: Ha Noi - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
This morning, we leave Ha Noi for Ho Chi Minh City. Airport transfers with
our friendly guide and excellent chauffer included. In the afternoon, free
at leisure or touring around Ho Chi Minh City with our guide.
Day 5: Cao Dai Holy See and Cu Chi tunnel (B,L)
8:00 a.m. pick up at the hotel. This morning we drive to Cao Dai Temple in
Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch, we will drive to
the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to Ho Chi Minh City at approximately 6
p.m. Tay Ninh near the Cambodian border, is home to the unique Cao Dai sect,
whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill
to name a few. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism
and Christianity. Services are held at 6 am, noon, 6:00 pm and midnight. The
Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh has been described as a Walt Disney fantasia of
the East. The temple's exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of
all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of Buddhist symbols.
Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao
Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ,
Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.The trip to Tay Ninh is
combined with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel
system stretched over 250 km. from Ho Chi Minh City to the Cambodian border
and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors,
specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories,
field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels
have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique
experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam
American must have been like.
Day 6: Mekong day trip (B,L)
Our one day cruise excursion starts at 8:00 am from the lobby of your hotel
in Ho Chi Minh City with a drive to Cai Be - Phu An where we will board the
Cai Be Princess at around 11.00 am. The tour will start with the visit of
Cai Be colorful floating market. We will proceed by the visit of some local
home factories such as rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, and
longans drying processing. The trip continues along the Mekong canals to
Dong Hoa Hiep Island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. During this 40
minutes cruise you will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and
observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Stops on the way can be made
upon request for particular visits or photos making. These evergreen islands
among the Mekong River remain unknown to many people.
Lunch awaits you at Le Longanier restaurant at La Residence de Phu An
resort, a superb Indochina style resort. After a short walk along a narrow
canal, the excursion will end at around 3:30 pm where the vehicle will await
you for your transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Free at leisure to go shopping in town then we will pick you up at your
hotel to transfer to airport. Flying back home.
