After an 8:00 a.m.
pick-up from your hotel in Hue, we head north of Hue to the DMZ
(Demilitarized Zone) which was the most heavily bombed and saw the highest
causalities, civilian and military, American and Vietnamese during the
American war. The first visit is to ancient battle fields in Dong Ha, Khe
Sanh on the historic Road 9 linking with Laos and then proceed to the
amazing tunnels of Vinh Moc, which remain untouched after many years. This
network offers you an authentic view of underground life of the Viet Cong
and villagers of Vinh Linh during the U.S.-Vietnam War. We return to Hue
later in the afternoon.
